Morning thoughts

Little Cricket Bug is growing up so fast. It's crazy and yet natural how quickly a small baby turns into a big baby which I'm sure will soon be a toddler ( goodness!) This morning as I was cooking breakfast I set him on his back on a quilt, not in the kitchen but on the floor near by, soon to realize he had flipped over and moved around half-circle. Since when had he gotten so fast and mobile? Soon he'll be crawling after me as I try to look after our home. =]
Yet as all this travels through my mind it is soon connected with how similar it is to my walk in faith. God teaches me something everyday. He is in my life constantly shaping me to be more like him. As I work on my new skill at times I become discouraged and wonder in frustration why it is I cannot walk or run yet. Then the spirit talks saying yes you mightn't be running right now but look you are no longer on your back you've learned to roll over and you're not content to stay there you want to crawl, walk, and run.
Well the baby is crying out for my attention so go, I must.
