So, it's been over three months since CB was born. I now understand it when they say kids grow up to fast; they really do. Within this last month life has been full for the Lazy D. To start off with Carrie and CB headed for California to visit with family. While I headed the other direction for some military training in Wisconsin.
After finishing up in Wisconsin. I got to see what life was like with out a wife or baby around for a couple of weeks before I headed down to California; it was very boring and quiet. So, I went camping and keeping in Davis tradition come to find out a week later I also totaled our VW. Crazy how much a car needs its oil pan. :)

The drive down to California was uneventful which was a nice change of pace. The Lazy D Ranch was once again reunited after almost a month apart. It was a great time being in the sunny state again seeing everyone from CVP, working on the in laws farm, as well as climbing Half Dome with my two sister-in-laws.
The trip back to the NorthWest took a little bit longer put we were not in such a hurry to leave the sun. We proceeded the first day to Medford,OR and slept a couple hours there. Then we kept moving on till Portland,OR to pick up a few things at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lynn's house. After a surprise visit from Papa and Nana we were finally on the last leg of our trip.
We arrived home a little worse for ware but, still all in one piece. So, that's what happened to us at the Ranch this last month. Take Care and God Bless.
